As a self employed professional, you know that before you take
home a penny of income, the fixed costs of running your practice
must be met.
When disability causes your income to stop, your office expenses
just keep rolling along. Rent is still due, staff salaries must
be paid and other financial obligations continue... except you're
not there to pay the costs.
The CBIA's Business Expense Disability Insurance Plan is designed
to cover the ongoing costs of running your practice in the event
you are partially or totally disabled due to sickness or accident.
Benefits and coverage's cease on the Policy Anniversary following
your 71st birthday.
You may purchase an amount equal to your average fixed monthly
expenses in the last 6 months less any business expense or office
overhead coverage presently in force. The maximum amount available
is $12,000.00 of monthly benefit.
