The limit of indemnity payable under the terms of this insurance, whether due to one or more accidents shall be the principal sum.

Under no circumstances will an impairment that existed prior to an accident, or the first of aseries of accidents, occurring within a consecutive period of forty-eight (48) hours, be taken into account for determining the specific loss sustained in such accident or series of accidents.

Thus, for example, an Insured Person who had prior to an accident lost the entire sight of one (1) eye would not be deemed to have sustained the loss of the entire sight of both eyes if theaccident resulted in the loss of sight of the remaining good eye.

Repatriation Benefit: When injuries covered by this insurance result in loss of life of an insured person outside Canada within three hundred sixty-five (365) days after the date of the accident, the Company will pay the actual expenses incurred for preparing the deceased for burial and shipment of the body to the city of residence of the deceased. The maximum so payable will not, however, be greater than the sum of $2,500.

Note: this is not a policy and your certificate of insurance received after approval will be the document including any and all particulars about your coverage.
